Don't all Mom's talk like that? My Mother's favourite line: Shut up or I'll knock your heads together. What was your Mom or Dad's favourite term of endearment?
My Uncle Isabel (yes, uncle.. she was living with my Aunt Mabel) once called me incorrigible. When I asked what the hell that meant (I was 8), she told me to look it up. So I said, "Oh.. you don't know, either, huh?"

"You have a God damned brain like a sieve" It took a while before I realized what a sieve was.
No wonder we're all so twisted!
dad: "don't make me get up."

Yes, I remember the "don't make me get up" one very well.

Ouch!
Mom: "Go play on the freeway!"
mom: "Oooh, my hand is getting itchy!" (only a good walloping of our behinds would ease the itch)
dad: "When we get home, I'm going to set you straight." (followed by the 40 minute drive home of dread)
Jacqueline's "You embarass me" is hilarious. How on earth do you combat that one?
