Part of me is wondering how much they prompted that remark(like asking Ms. Rae if she had heard about Collins reputation.)
I smelt a little set-up myself. It sounded as if she were answering a specific question. A dirty trick to play on an old lady.I did love Collins reaction. I thought she was going to give herself whiplash.
