Random Oscar Thoughts

  • Really lame opening montage
  • Oh how I don't miss Billy Crystal!
  • Why is Cameron Diaz at every Oscar ceremony?
  • Don't pick on Dennis, Jon, it just ain't right
  • Boy, Jennifer Hudson spit that out in one word! andtheoscargoestojavierbardem
  • Steve Carrell is just the cutest!
  • How many songs from that Enchanted movie were nominated? Too many
  • I loved the periscopes and binoculars montage
  • I guess Owen Wilson is fully recovered
  • Tilda Swinton isn't wearing make-up! I'm transfixed by her naked eyes
  • Okay you won for Peter and the Wolf, do you really need to bring up the puppet?
  • Katherine Heigl = Drama Queen
  • Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill (Halle Berry Hands) are funny
  • What's with all of the spring dresses from Target, it's the fucking Oscars!
  • Marion Cotillard is stunning
  • Colin Farrell almost wipes out
  • John Travolta almost wipes out (the gig's up John, embrace your baldness)
  • Loved Marketa Irglova's speech!
  • Oh jeez, they're dragging out the soldiers
  • Harrison Ford - I guess men don't always age well
  • Diablo Cody looked like she was either going to throw up or make a run for it
  • Could the Coen brothers look any more subdued?

The Peter and the Wolf puppet should have hosted the Oscars.

It would have made for a more entertaining evening.

GReat list - you have a gift, d.prince, but I expect you know that already!!!

If there are post-Oscar awards, Jennifer Hudson's dress should win Best Supporting Gown. Yes, it gave her a uniboob, but at least we were all able to relax, unlike last year when one boob (did I get that right?) kept trying to escape throughout the entire song, and I couldn't stop screaming.

I personally hope they ALL pronounce Javier's name wrong; he'll appreciate my lovely Spanish accent all the more when he gets tired of Penelope and his Destiny sends him up north into my waiting arms.

Did you see that during the red carpet show right before the Oscars started that Regis called Javier by the name "Xavier?" HA!

I missed the whole red carpet thing but I'm not surprised, it seems one out of 10 can pronounce his name properly.

I was transfixed by Tilda Swinton's hair. I spent 5 minutes trying to adjust the red tint on the tv.
